Change or cancel your appointment
Give us at least 24 hours’ notice and there is nothing to pay — you can move to another day or cancel altogether. The quickest way is to telephone the clinic.

Tell us at least 24 hours before your appointment and we will move you to another slot. There is no fee for rescheduling when you give us that much notice.

Tell us at least 24 hours before your appointment. Cancel with more than 24 hours' notice and there is no administration fee to pay.

How to tell us
Telephone 020 8920 3129 during opening hours — that reaches us fastest and you will know straight away that the change is made. The clinic’s terms also allow you to give notice in writing, by e-mail to Queries@theldc.co.uk. Please include your name, the test you booked and the date and time of the appointment.

If there is less than 24 hours to go
Less than 24 hours' notice
Please still tell us — an empty slot helps nobody, and another patient can use it. Under the clinic's terms, cancelling or moving an appointment with less than 24 hours' notice can mean a charge.
You booked for today or tomorrow
Appointments booked within 24 hours — same-day or next-day — are non-refundable. If you cancel one, any payment already made is lost. That applies however much notice you give, because the booking itself was inside the notice period.
You are running late
Call us as soon as you know. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late your appointment is automatically cancelled and the payment is not refundable. If we can still see you, the appointment ends at its allotted time rather than running on.
You miss it altogether
A missed appointment is charged in full and nothing already paid is refunded. If something has gone wrong on the day, telephone us — we would far rather hear from you.
